Meet Dr. Alexyss Leiker

Dr. Alexyss Leiker believes dentistry has the power to change more than smiles — it can build confidence, improve overall health, and create lasting relationships. Her philosophy is simple: every patient deserves exceptional clinical care delivered with honesty, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making them feel comfortable. She founded Leiker Smiles with the vision of creating a practice that feels different from the moment patients walk through the door — a place where advanced dentistry, thoughtful design, and personalized care come together to make every visit something patients can actually look forward to. Whether helping someone overcome dental anxiety or creating a life-changing smile transformation, her greatest reward is helping patients feel healthy, confident, and genuinely cared for.

Born and raised in Hays, Dr. Leiker is proud to serve the community that shaped her. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Fort Hays State University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. In 2022, she purchased an established dental practice in Hoisington and later returned to Hays to build a second location from the ground up, fulfilling a lifelong dream of bringing a modern, patient-centered dental experience to her hometown.

Outside the office, Dr. Leiker enjoys traveling with her husband, discovering new restaurants, getting lost in a good book, watching sports, and spoiling her corgi, Leo. She believes some of life's best memories are made around a dinner table or on a plane headed somewhere new. While she loves exploring, there's no place she'd rather call home than Hays, and she feels incredibly fortunate to serve both communities that have always supported her. 

Meet Dr. Justin Pfeifer

Dr. Justin Pfeifer believes that great dentistry is about more than just healthy teeth — it's about building meaningful relationships with patients and giving back to the community. He is committed to providing personalized care in a welcoming environment, where every patient feels comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their treatment decisions.

After growing up in Hays, Dr. Justin Pfeifer attended Creighton University, where he earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following graduation, he practiced comprehensive family dentistry in Colorado Springs before returning home to serve the community that helped shape him. He provides a wide range of services, including preventive care, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, extractions, dentures, and conscious sedation to help patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment. Dr. Pfeifer is dedicated to continuing education, allowing him to offer the latest techniques and technology while providing personalized care tailored to each patient's needs.

When he's away from the office, Dr. Pfeifer enjoys making memories with his family, spending time at Wilson Lake, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and golfing. He is honored to be part of the community and looks forward to caring for generations of local families.
